About Harper

Grateful mother, sister, professor, writer, and advocate. Prodigal daughter. Friend.

Harper Green is an award-winning educator and writer, and she is a child and disability advocate with over twenty years of experience teaching English, literature, and creative writing to children and adults. She has served as a curriculum specialist domestically and abroad. Her current research interests include domestic violence, sexual trauma, adjustment disorders, sensory processing disorders, play therapy, and reading and writing interventions for children with learning differences. When Harper isn’t thanking God for her son, Eli, she volunteers in her church, college, and community. She leads support groups for adults living with chronic illnesses.
